This includes defining the path for sustainable transformation and ensuring regulatory compliance. Our focus is on our SaaS solution, ESG.DNA Starboard Software. We work closely with partners across various sectors of the economy and are continuously expanding our client base. Our team provides strategic ESG consulting, CO2 management, support with the EU taxonomy, and sustainability reporting. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Identify and develop new markets while acquiring customers in Germany and across the EU, with a primary focus on driving new business and sustainable growth.
Design and implement sales strategies to generate leads, working closely with the sales development and marketing teams to create targeted, impactful campaigns.
Independently manage the entire deal lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to successful contract closure, ensuring a seamless handover to the ESG management team.
Take responsibility for key account management and maintain strong partnerships.
Conduct regular competitor analyses to stay ahead in the market.
Manage and optimise the customer database.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Corporate Development & Marketing and senior management to align ESG.DNA GmbH’s offerings with customer needs and position the company effectively in the market.
YOU HAVE:
You have at least two years of proven success in selling B2B SaaS or software solutions, particularly in new customer acquisition and business development.
You’re experienced in navigating the software purchasing processes of companies with more than 250 employees and understand their challenges.
You bring expertise and fresh ideas for effective sales processes and are skilled at implementing them successfully.
You’re proficient with HubSpot and excel at analysing sales data to inform strategic decisions.
You thrive on tackling new topics and challenges, including regulatory and contractual matters.
You have the ability to build trust and enthusiasm in potential customers with your positive, proactive, and creative approach.
Active listening and developing effective conversation strategies are among your key strengths.
Ideally, you hold a degree in economics, communication, or social sciences (a background in IT is an advantage), or possess a comparable qualification.
You’re fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
You’re passionate about sustainability and ESG and are motivated to contribute to a future worth living.
